Healthy Kids Day will be held on April 26 at the Durango Hills YMCA. This event offers families a safe space to enjoy being active as a family. Games, vendors, music, giveaways and so much more are offered. We rely on volunteers to run games, stations, and assist with setup and breakdown of the event. Give back to your community by joining us as a volunteer at this fun and festive event! In addition to any other tasks, volunteers perform the following youth protection functions: 1. Adheres to policies related to boundaries with children. 2. Attends required abuse risk management training. 3. Reports suspicious or inappropriate behaviors and policy violations. 4. Follows mandated abuse reporting requirements. 5. Adheres to job specific abuse risk management responsibilities. 6. Reports essential abuse risk management information to their supervisor, executive director, or human resources.
